Rules of conduct in the Hockey Cards Echo H-CARD.RUL, 19-Sep-95
Moderator: David Storey of 1:348/601@fidonet.org
The Hockey Card Collectors Echo is a place where trading cards can be
discussed, bought, sold, or traded. If a player has a hockey card
regardless of which league he is playing in, it is considered
"on topic" in this forum.
1. Discussions are limited to Hockey Cards only...ie, no baseball or
football cards. etc. Stick to hockey (grin)!
2. Real names are to be used in this area.. No alias' are allowed.
3. This echo will allow the discussion, buying and trading of all
hockey cards, be it of a player or a team or event.
4. Users/Nodes violating the Echo Rules will be given 3 notices by
the moderator, as follows:
1st Notice - Public via the echo OR private via netmail.
2nd Notice - Private via Netmail and a CC (Carbon Copy) to your Sysop.
3rd Notice - Private via Netmail, CC to sysop, and CC to NEC/REC.
Failure to conform for echo rules after the 3rd infraction will
result in a PUBLIC banishment from the echo as well as your
Host Sysop loosing their feed. The NEC will be advised to notify
other system operators of your banishment as well.
5. There is only 1 moderator of this echo...(namely me). Please allow
me the courtesy of moderating the echo, as I allow you the courtesy
of using it. Complaints about other users are NOT to be posted
publically, but instead, sent to me via private netmail.
6. Discussions on individual happenings of a player, team, recent
scores etc have another forum called HOCKEY. Please discuss that
stuff there...this echo is for HOCKEY CARDS!
7. Trading of hockey cards is a matter that is between the individuals
involved. However, if I find that there are people who are continually
"ripping off" others, they will be asked to leave the echo...IE, loose
their feed.
